Vissertruien door de jaren heen. De visserstrui van werkgoed tot mode
A fascinating exhibition exploring patterns used for jumpers worn by fishermen in Friesland’s fishing communities.
On tour from the Moddergat Museum, the exhibition will focus on the range of patterns used in different communities in the province situated in the north of the Netherlands.
The Frisian coastal communities have similar characteristics to those of the Llŷn Peninsula and the exhibition is bound to spark an interest in jumpers worn locally.
