Create a piece of work inspired by a landscape or seascape of your choice (bring a photograph of a landscape with you as an inspiration, either on your phone or a printed copy) During the course, participants will learn the technique of weaving using a small wooden frame loom and have an opportunity to create a small tapestry to take home.
Since graduating with a degree in tapestry from Edinburgh College of Art, University of Edinburgh in 1999, followed by a Masters degree at the same college in 2001, Elin has exhibited widely throughout Wales and abroad. She lives in Llanbedrog and is an art and design teacher at Ysgol Botwnnog Secondary School. Her work which includes tapestry, weaving and drawings, is inspired by the landscapes, seascapes and poetry of Wales.
